Revere grad earns Eagle Scout Certificate

RICHFIELD — Matthew Ertle, of Richfield, shown at left, received his Eagle Scout Certificate from Boy Scout Troop No. 387, sponsored by the Richfield United Church of Christ, at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor Aug. 18.

Matt’s Eagle Project was to design and supervise the construction and installation of three benches along the north drive at Revere High School, providing a place for students to sit while they wait for school buses. He earned a total of 26 merit badges, five more than the Eagle Scout requirement.
Matt is a 2012 honors graduate of Revere High School and is attending Muskingum University in New Concord, where he is majoring in music. He is the son of John and Kathy Ertle.
