CLFE Class XVIII named

AKRON — The 18th Class of the Child and Family Leadership Exchange (CFLE) has been named, with 27 participants taking part in a year-long series of activities designed to promote excellence in leadership. The members are:

• Wilma Cowan Alexander, of Akron, hearing officer/coordinator, Akron Public Schools

• Inese Alvarez, M.Ed., of Canton, director, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Summit and Medina Counties, Mature Services Inc.

• Latoya Andrews, of Akron, social program coordinator, Summit County Department of Job and Family Services (SCDJFS)

• Darlene Baad, MSW, LSW, of Canton, protective services supervisor, Summit County Children Services (SCCS)

• Christine Brown, LSW, of Tallmadge, volunteer coordinator, Guardian Ad Litem, Summit County Juvenile Court

• Crystal Bowen Carter, of Akron, supervisor, Juvenile Bureau, Akron Police Department

• Kendra Crookston, LPCC-S, of Kent, mental health therapist, Akron Children’s Hospital

• Lisa Daugherty-Hudson, MBA, of Malvern, social program supervisor, SCDJFS

• John Ellis, LISW-S, LICDC, ICCS, of Olmsted Falls, manager of clinical services, Summit County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADM) Board

• John Galonski, JD, of Akron, chief assistant prosecutor, Child Support Division, Summit County Prosecutor’s Office

• Stacy Greenamyer, PCC, of Munroe Falls, intensive services manager, Child Guidance and Family Solutions

• Nicole Higgins, BA, of Cuyahoga Falls, child and family partner, Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority

• Jacquie Owens, of Stow, specialty business areas manager, Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board

• Catherine Pomeroy, J.D., of Chagrin Falls, attorney, SCCS

• Jolene Goddard Reinhart, of Norton, educational consultant, curriculum instructor, Summit County Educational Service Center

• Michael Ryan, of Medina, shelter manager, Summit County Opportunity Center, Battered Women’s Shelter of Medina and Summit Counties

• Jill Sadowsky, MSW, LISW-S, of South Euclid, director of admissions, outreach and early childhood services, Bellefaire JCB

• Frank Williams, of Fairlawn, president and CEO, Williams Challenge/Man 2 Man Fatherhood Initiative

• Alexandra Wright, of Akron, program director, Youth Excellence Performing Arts Workshop

• Heather Wuensch, of Litchfield, director of advocacy, community benefit and outreach initiatives, Akron Children’s Hospital

The CFLE program is administered by SCCS, and oversight is provided by an advisory board, including: Judge Carol Dezso, chair, Summit County Domestic Relations Court; Gerald Craig, executive director, Summit County ADM Board; Patricia Divoky, executive director, SCDJFS; Linda Fuline, Summit County Educational Service Center; Elaine Harlin, president, Child Guidance and Family Solutions; David James, Akron Public Schools; William Payne, Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board; John Saros, SCCS; Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio, Summit County Juvenile Court; and Bernett Williams, Akron Children’s Hospital.
