Superintendent Elisabeth McNicholas said while the building cannot be left as it is — unused and uninhabited by the district — the board also recognizes the building holds special memories for some local residents.
McNicholas said Revere High School English teacher Don Welsh has videotaped events at the school in an effort to capture some of the history and memories. McNicholas said if the district does sell the building, it would hold a ceremony to allow the community to reminisce and say goodbye.
