Fagert, Smith to marry
Gary Smith, of Cortland, and Hope Smith, of Copley, announce the engagement of their son, Jeremy Smith, of Stow, to Tiffany Fagert, of Stow, daughter of Michael and Mary Jo Fagert, of Canfield.
Tiffany graduated from Canfield High School in 2003 and from The Ohio State University (OSU) in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in dietetics. She is doing an internship in dietetics and is in the master’s program at Kent State University.
Jeremy graduated from Revere High School in 2003 and from OSU in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is employed by Cohen and Co. as a staff accountant in the auditing department.
The Dec. 5, 2009, wedding is set to take place at St. Michael’s Parish in Canfield, with the reception at Mr. Anthony’s at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
Lembo, Kesler are engaged
Sigmund and Deborah Lembo, of West Akron, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stefanie Lembo, to Jason Kesler, son of R. Keith and the late Carol Kesler, of Shelburne, Vt.
Stefanie graduated from Firestone High School in 1996. She received a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Miami University in 2000 and is a project manager with Aetna in Columbus.
Jason is a 1996 graduate of Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School in Dayton. He received a bachelor’s degree in operations management from The Ohio State University in 2000 and his master’s degree in business administration in 2004. He is employed by UnitedHealthcare as Six Sigma Project Manager.
The couple plans to be married May 2010 in Columbus, where they each currently reside.
Curtis, Strickler to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Curtis, of Stow, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda S. Curtis, to George E. Strickler IV, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Strickler III, of Bath.
Amanda is a 2003 graduate of Stow-Munroe Falls High School and a 2007 graduate of The University of Akron (UA) with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She is pursuing a master of business administration from UA, with an expected graduation of fall 2009. She is employed by FirstEnergy in the treasury department.
George is a 1994 graduate of Revere High School and 1998 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is employed by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. as manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for Consumer Products — North America Tire division.
An August 2010 wedding is planned at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Akron.
