Coventry students take part in Day of Reading

The Day of Reading was celebrated countywide, and people were encouraged to join others in the community and read for 30 minutes during the day, according to the This City Reads! website.
From 1 to 1:30 p.m. that day, 691 students and 55 staff members at the high school read newspapers, magazines and books, according to Coventry High School Principal Cindy McDonald. A group of them is pictured at right.
