WITAN past presidents recognized

Special Events Committee Chair Beth Fink and her committee planned an event with food, flowers and fashion to honor members who have served as president (15 of whom were present). Committee co-chair Jennifer Ringer dressed and accessorized the WITAN ladies in some finds from Gerri’s Closet for the runway, according to event officials.
Gerry McFadden, husband of 1976-77 WITAN President Mary Ellen, presented an annual contribution to President Karen Silver for her service.
Barbara Bell, a University of Akron senior, was this year’s recipient of the WITAN President’s Scholarship. She will graduate in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in organizational supervision, according to event officials.
