Helping All In Need Donation Services

AKRON — Helping All In Need Donation Services (HANDS) is hosting Bowling for the Kids for the Madison Walker Memorial Foundation to buy toys for children battling spinal meningitis July 28 starting at 10 a.m. at Bill White’s Akron Lanes, 2911 E. Waterloo Road. HANDS is a nonprofit organization crafted to change the lives of those in need, and all proceeds from this bowling benefit buying toys for children with spinal meningitis, according to event officials. With thousands of children diagnosed with meningitis each year, HANDS and the Madison Walker Foundation’s goal is to provide the children who battle meningitis day after day with a reason to smile. Tickets cost $15 for one or $20 for two and include two games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and pop. The tickets are valid all day July 28. Tickets can be purchased online or at the event.
