TALLMADGE — Country life was celebrated during the Summit County Fair, which took place July 24-29. Fairgoers enjoyed agricultural displays and exhibits and traditional fair activities like rides.

Enjoying the latter were friends Molly Gilreath, 8, of Richfield, and Rosie Alexander, 8, of West Akron, who are shown at right top riding the Catch ’N Air together.

West Akron resident Sam Dattoma, 6, is pictured at left as he tries out a bubble gun at one of the fair booths.

In agricultural events, Richfield resident Cody Luther, 9, won the Showman of Showmen award. Cody is shown at right bottom with his white shorthorn cross steer, James. 

The event also featured traditional fair food and entertainment such as a circus and magic acts for children.
