WEST AKRON — A cool September evening provided the perfect setting for the West Hill Neighborhood Association’s outdoor movie night at Glendale Cemetery. The Sept. 15 event began with a Bugs Bunny cartoon, as shown below left, and was followed by a showing of “It Happened One Night” with Clark Gable.

Pictured at bottom right, from left, are Anne Marie Undercoffer, Liz Doney and Elizabeth Whitmyer, all of Akron, as they share a snack of bread and smoked cheese before the movie.

Many of those in attendance are shown at top right as they wait for the start of show.

The free movie event was presented with the help of the Akron Digital Media Center.
