SILVER LAKE — President Sharon Myers installed two new members at a recent meeting of the William Wetmore Chapter Daughters of 1812 at the Silver Lake Country Club.

Shown above, from left, are new members Susan Crawford and Elizabeth Miller, both of Cuyahoga Falls; Myers, of Silver Lake; and Judy Adam, of Twinsburg.

The chapter is planning several ceremonies in Summit County for next year and trips in Ohio to participate in the bicentennial celebrations of Fort Meigs, Fort Stephenson and the Battle of Lake Erie, which will take place throughout the summer. To prepare for a trip to Fort Meigs, Myers presented a program on the 8-acre fort in Perrysburg.

For information on joining the Daughters of 1812, call Myers at 330-794-5099.
