MCBDD Giving Trees

GRANGER — The staff, students and clients of the Medina County Board of Developmental Disabilities (MCBDD) are helping bring a little warmth to Medina County. Now through Dec. 14, the community is invited to join in the caring by donating new or gently used hats, gloves, scarves and mittens to place on “Giving Trees” located in the entry ways of the Achievement Center, 4691 Windfall Road. These donations will be distributed throughout Medina County to benefit families in need. MCBDD officials said that during the past seven years, more than 3,000 items have been collected and donated to local agencies, such as the Medina Community Services Center, the Medina County Home, Battered Women’s Shelter, Salvation Army Medina and Wadsworth, and the Rape Crisis Center of Summit & Medina Counties. Relay For Life

RICHFIELD — The next American Cancer Society Revere Relay For Life Night at Musketeers Bar & Grill, 3027 Brecksville Road, will be Dec. 13 from 4 to 9 p.m. A percentage of the evening’s profits will be donated to the Relay.
