COVENTRY — The Portage Lakes Kiwanis Poker Run will take place July 12, with registration beginning at 11 a.m. at the Civic Center, 725 Portage Lakes Drive. The run is an 85-mile ride by motorcycle or car to Amish country and back to the Upper Deck, where there will be free hot dogs, sloppy joes and pop. The cost, or to just play a hand, is $20, with $5 for secondary riders. The best hand will win $500, and there will be a prize for the lowest hand. In addition, there will be door prizes, a silent auction of themed baskets and a 50/50 reverse raffle.
