Meeker, Boehnen to marry
David and Anita Meeker, of West Akron, announce the engagement of their son, David Edgerton Meeker, to Heather Marie Boehnen, of Minneapolis. The couple, who live in Chicago, are planning a June 13, 2009, wedding in Minneapolis at the Basilica of St. Mary.
David attended St. Vincent and Walsh Jesuit High schools and the University of Cincinnati. He is a director of user experience at Roundarch, a provider of design and technology services for large private and governmental organizations. He also serves on the board of the Around the Coyote arts organization, a nonprofit that supports, promotes and makes accessible Chicago’s multidisciplinary arts community.
Heather, the daughter of David and Shari Boehnen, of Minneapolis, is an account representative for the French pharmaceutical company Biocodex. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
The couple plan to continue living in Chicago. David and Anita Meeker hosted an engagement party in Akron for David and Heather over the Christmas holidays.
Wiggins, Bray engaged
Craig Wiggins and Cynthia Crise and Eric and Betsy Bray announce the engagement of their children, Kelly Wiggins and Michael Bray.
Kelly is a 1998 graduate of Copley High School and a 2002 graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Mike is a 1997 graduate of Revere High School and a 2001 graduate of the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh.
Mike and Kelly currently reside in Seattle and are planning a fall wedding in the Akron area.
Considine, O’Malley to wed
Mr. and Mrs. William Considine, of West Akron, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cathryn Christine Considine, to Michael Patrick O’Malley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert O’Malley, of Newton Falls. The families plan an October 2009 wedding in Akron.
The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Archbishop Hoban High School and a 2002 graduate of Capital University. Cathryn is employed as a communications specialist for Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
The groom-elect is a 1996 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Warren and a 2001 graduate of Kent State University with bachelor of science and architecture degrees. Michael is employed as a project manager for Lusk Architects in Columbus.
