Park board thankful for gift
To the editor:
The Bath Park Board is grateful for the $500 contribution made by the Lubrizol Community Connection Grant in honor of volunteer hours served by Rachael A. Post, a resident of Bath and a member of the Bath Park Board. The Lubrizol Foundation rewards employees like Ms. Post who donate time and expertise in their communities, by making a monetary donation to an organization or charity of the employee’s choice. Half of the grant money will go toward Bath Park’s October “Fall Into Nature” celebration. The board will donate the remaining $250 to Bath Township for the Nature Preserve Deck Project.
We thank Rachael for her volunteer hours and encourage others who are interested in volunteering to preserve our parks to contact Bath Township; volunteerism has a huge impact on what can be achieved.
Pam Reitz, president, Bath Park Board
