To the editor:

I am writing this to endorse the upcoming levy in August for the Woodridge Local School District. I am a Woodridge High graduate. After living on the west side of Cleveland for many years, having a child and trying to determine where to raise her and where to send her to school, I realized how much I appreciated my time at Woodridge. My husband and I made the decision to move to Peninsula for one main reason … to send our daughter to Woodridge. She is a special needs child. She will be entering first grade in the fall. She is very happy and has made a ton of progress thanks to everyone at the Woodridge Primary School.

During the previous school year, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to spend time with my daughter’s kindergarten class. The class was full of smart, sweet and happy children. It’s apparent they are very eager and willing to learn. These children are our future; they are already off to a great start. I hope to see this quality of education continue.

I support this levy and I look forward to all of the years ahead for my daughter and her classmates.
