Council adopted on first reading a resolution accepting and approving a replat of James’ properties in the Hunter Hills Allotment.
According to Stephen Knittel, of the Department of Community and Economic Development, the request combines two adjoining parcels into one: a large parcel on Idlebrook Drive and a smaller one on Crystal Lake Road. The result is one L-shaped parcel.
Though the Miami Heat star’s name was never mentioned, county property records show that the parcels belong to James. An aerial photo of the properties show a large home on the Idlebrook plot that includes a basketball court in the rear corner. The Crystal Lake lot includes a house.
According to supplemental information on the replat, the Planning Commission approved it on March 28 and the county engineer approved it April 17.
Knittel estimated the property totals 7 acres.
