Eighth annual Sugar Plum holiday home tour set for Dec. 6
Historic, contemporary homes lavishly decorated for holidays

During that time, tour-goers will tour five decorated homes in Fairlawn Heights and West Akron. From 5 to 8 p.m., a limited number of patrons also will party at an exclusive sixth home in the Silver Lake area. In addition, grand patrons will receive a limited-edition holiday ornament created by Leandra Drumm.
Residents are encouraged to order tickets early. General admission tickets are $25 and include the five-home, self-guided tour. A limited number of $100 patron and $150 grand patron tickets also are available.
All tickets can be purchased online at www.sugarplumtour.org or by calling (330) 761-6426. Cash-only general admission tickets are available at Angel Falls Coffee Co., 792 W. Market St. in Highland Square. Attendee sign-in and map pickup will begin at 1 p.m. on the day of the tour at Angel Falls.
Major sponsors of the 2009 Sugar Plum Tour include Bricco and Akron Municipal Court Judge Jerry Larson, with support from Angel Falls Coffee Co., West Side Bakery and Fifth Third Bank, along with other individual donors. All proceeds from the event will support the philanthropic efforts of the Gay Community Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation.
