This year’s Home Builders Association serving Portage and Summit Counties event takes place Oct. 4-12 in the Meadows of Spring Hill, located off Boettler Road in Green.
All the homes are located on Dalby Circle.
1001 Dalby Circle
This Rembrandt Homes entry, one of two built by the Uniontown company for the parade, has been created to show that a “green” home can have the same appeal as any other. Featuring 1,972 square feet, The Greenville has an open floor plan that will allow the owner flexibility.
The builders earned certification at the Gold Level from the Northeast Ohio Green Building Initiative for the home, which they earned by scoring high in five different areas. The home was constructed with Insulated Concrete Form foundation, which is extremely energy efficient, according to company officials.
The ranch-style home also features a full basement that can be finished to almost double the home’s square footage. An open stairway leads to the basement.
The home’s entrance is remarkable for its dramatic barrel-rolled entrance in the foyer that leads to a unique coffered ceiling in the great room.
The kitchen is open and finished with maple cabinetry, Cambria quartz countertops and a handmade brick backsplash.
Elsewhere in the home, a custom wood and stone fireplace creates a cozy feel, while the formal dining room has custom wainscoting. An oversized two-car garage includes extra space for storage.
The model home is listed at $319,000.
1009 Dalby Circle
The Kennebrook, designed and built by Scott McCue Homes, of Massillon, features 2,560 square feet of flexible living space. The home has three bedrooms and a loft that can be a fourth. The loft overlooks a great room with a vaulted ceiling. There also are two-and-half baths. A covered rear porch will provide the homeowner with a pleasant place to watch the seasons change.
Luxury touches include wide plank maple floors in the foyer and kitchen, glazed cabinetry and solid surface countertops. The gourmet kitchen also features a center island.
The owner’s suite is located on the first floor, providing privacy. The first floor also features a formal dining room that also can be used as a den. An attached three-car garage provides plenty of room for cars and equipment.
The model is priced between $325,000 and $330,000.
1016 Dalby Circle
The second entry from Rembrandt Homes is the Bancroft, the largest home on the tour at 2,726 square feet. The builders created the home with any family’s lifestyle in mind.
The open floor plan home features a first-floor master bedroom and a second-floor playroom. The spacious kitchen opens into the great room and includes granite countertops and a tile backsplash.
Handcrafted woodwork is on display throughout, with custom interior columns and mudroom lockers. The floors are crafted from Asian walnut.
The home also has a dramatic open staircase to the second floor that includes wrought-iron spindles.
A three-car garage has custom shelving and features stairs leading to the basement.
The home is listed at $339,000.
1017 Dalby Circle
Luxe Living Homes, of Canton, a division of Old World Classics, prides itself on unique homes that are custom built. The Hallsville is no exception with its 2,300 square feet of affordable luxury.
This open floor plan home features double-thick arched openings throughout the interior and exterior custom iron work. Distressed engineered wood flooring is underfoot throughout the home. The first floor includes a private master suite and the upstairs, with two lofts, can be used for an additional three bedrooms.
Outside, the home features a stucco front elevation.
The model is priced between $310,000 and $330,000.
