Green fourth-grade basketball team wins championship

GREEN — The Green Bulldogs fourth-grade boys basketball team won the state championship in Columbus Feb. 25.

The undefeated Bulldogs beat Upper Arlington to win the title. The team also defeated Olentangy Liberty, Hilliard-Darby, Tecumsah and Jackson Gold enroute to the championship.
The team, shown at right, from left, includes: (first row) Andrew Stopp, Shea Simmer, Garrison Keeslar, Andrew Micale and Jordan Norris; (second row) Tae Perie, Arjun Garcha, Donovan O’Neill, Isaac Watson and Ryan Smith; and (third row) coaches Paul Garcha, Paul Simmer, Jim Keeslar and Rob Stopp.
