GREATER AKRON — The Everest Soccer Club U14 girls team won a tournament held at the Sahlens Sports Park in New York.

According to team officials, the team beat three Canadian teams to win the championship, besting Waterloo 4-1; drawing Dixie 1-1 and defeating Kitchener 2-0.
