Highland students gear up for derby
By Staff Writer
GRANGER — Highland High School students in Vicki Boltja’s class received a full-sized Soap Box Derby car as part of the Masters of Gravity program. The car, donated by Romeo’s Pizza, was delivered to the class in March by Joe Mazur, president and CEO of the Soap Box Derby, according to Highland officials. Romeo’s Pizza also provided pizza for the class to help kick-off the program.
