COLUMBUS— During the May 16 session of the Ohio House of Representatives, state Rep. Anthony DeVitis (R-District 43) presented a House resolution to Green resident Alec Bailey, who is the 2011-12 Ohio Youth Wrestling Association’s state champion, shown at right.

According to DeVitis’ office, Bailey has been wrestling for seven seasons and is a four-time district finalist, a three-time champion and a four-time state placer. He finished his season 75-4 for the North Akron Warriors Wrestling Club. Bailey attends Green Intermediate School, where he is finishing the sixth grade. He also plays football and baseball for Green.
