Copley Cosmos win championship

COPLEY — On June 3, the Division 3 Copley Cosmos U11 girls team competed in the Greater Akron Amateur Soccer Association (GAASA) playoffs and defeated Highland to become the champions of their division.

The team, shown at right, from left, includes: (front row) Marissa Riley, Merideth Vieson, Susie Kleines, Audrey Milligan, Beth Schmidt, Katherine Davis and Ava Duluc; and (second row) Scott Vieson, Andy Milligan, Sydney Green, Brianna Andersen, Caroline Kimberly, Lauren Fricker, Kamryn DiRocco, Joe DiRocco and Katie Trzeciak.
