Revere Minutemen win Copley Suburban Showdown Tournament

COPLEY — The U10 Revere Minutemen baseball team were champions at the 2012 Copley Suburban Showdown Baseball Tournament June 7-10.

The team went undefeated all weekend, beating out the Perry Panthers 6-4 in the championship game.

The team, shown at right, from left, are: (front row) Grant Scherler, Jacin Colaco, Brett Rogers and Ryan Hagarty; (middle row) Gavin Williams, Hunter Drenth, Nic Perrott, Evan Burke, Patrick McGrath, Aiden Blakely and Eden Wertz; and (back row) coaches Jon Williams, Jim Hagarty, Troy Burke, Don Perrott and head coach Brad Wertz.
