DOWNTOWN AKRON — The St. Vincent-St. Mary (STVM) High School boys basketball team defeated Buchtel High School at home 59-42 Feb. 2.

STVM’s Jalen Hudson led the Fighting Irish with 16 points. Hudson (No. 3) is shown at right, at center, as he dunks the ball.

Shown at left, at left, is STVM’s Nick Wells (No. 21) as he lays the ball up past Buchtel’s Sable Cooper (No. 3). Wells ended the game with 11 points.
