Woodridge defeats CVCA in home opener

PENINSULA — Woodridge High School’s football team opened the season Aug. 30 with a 17-6 win at home over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (CVCA).

Woodridge’s Devonte Fellows had a 25-yard touchdown run, and fellow Bulldog Dalevon Davidson finished the game with 132 yards.

Both teams will play tomorrow, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. Woodridge will play Manchester High School at Manchester. CVCA will play at home against Norwayne High School.
