STVM continues road to state game

WEST AKRON — St. Vincent-St. Mary High School’s football team continues its road to a state championship, as it won its first Division III playoff game Nov. 8 at home.

The Fighting Irish, defending state champions, defeated Kenston High School 52-7. STVM (11-0) will take on Poland Seminary High School (10-1) in the regional semifinals tomorrow, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at Ravenna Gilcrest Field.
