Revere defeats Copley in close game

COPLEY — It was a close game between the Revere and Copley high schools boys basketball teams Jan. 3, but visiting Revere came out on top, winning 58-55.

Zach Lalkowski led Revere with 15 points, followed by Jordan Holtkamp, Teddy Hughes and Dylan Geig with 12 points each.

Shown at right bottom is Lalkowski (No. 21), at left, taking a shot against Copley’s Daniel Ester (No. 22).

Shown above is Holtkamp (No. 3), at left, attempting a layup against Copley’s Todd Williams (No. 11), who led the Indians with 13 points.

Shown below is Geig (No. 5), at right, trying to get past Copley’s Brandon Chillious (No. 24), who finished the game with 11 points.

Copley’s Larry Spear (No. 3), is shown at right top, at left, taking a shot against Revere’s Holtkamp (No. 3). Spear ended the game with seven points.

Both teams will play games tomorrow, Jan. 10, at 7:30 p.m. Revere will play at home against Nordonia High School. Copley will play Cloverleaf High School at Cloverleaf.
