CUYAHOGA FALLS — The city officially opened its ice rink and ceremoniously welcomed the holiday season during events Nov. 24 at Falls River Square. The evening included the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree and fireworks, as shown at left.

Attendees also enjoyed a program by Kent State University ice skaters, shown at right top.

Families had the chance to participate in a variety of activities throughout the day, including rides on the M&M Train, pictured at right bottom. Shown at right middle is a group of children as they enjoy meeting Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and The Grinch.

The ice rink will be open daily through Jan. 3, with the exception of Dec. 25, and then Thursdays through Sundays through February. For more information, go to www.cityofcf.com or call 330-971-8135.
