GREEN — Santa Claus arrived at the MAPS Air Museum Dec. 2, but no reindeer were spotted. Instead, he and Mrs. Claus arrived in a Cessna at the aviation museum adjacent to the Akron-Canton Airport, as shown at right top.

Among the children in attendance was Canton resident McKayla Medal, 3, who is pictured at left as she waits for Santa as he waves to the crowd.

Later, Santa settled into a chair next to Mrs. Claus and listened to the wishes of youngsters like Ethan Partain, 7, and his new brother Kaiden, of Green, who are shown at right middle, from left.

Blake Newell, 1, of Massillon, also enjoyed the event and is shown at right bottom with volunteer elf Angela Finney.

The Santa Fly-In is an annual event coordinated by the Women With Wings Chapter of International 99.
