WEST AKRON — The two Dogue de Bordeaux breed dogs owned by Joy Chicatelli and Paul Leibold, of West Akron, are continuing their winning ways in 2013, according to Chicatelli. She said Storm de Legeane is currently the No. 1 Dogue de Bordeaux male in the country. He is shown at right bottom competing at an event in Detroit this month.

Meanwhile, their dog Urszula z Orisku ended 2012 as the No. 1 Dogue de Bordeaux female in the country, Chicatelli said. She also recently earned her Bronze Grand Championship, and Chicatelli said she is the first black mask Dogue de Bordeaux female in American Kennel Club history to earn that. Urszula is pictured at right top.
