CUYAHOGA FALLS — The annual installation of officers of the 32nd degree Scottish Rite Masons of the Valley of Akron was held May 23 at the Cuyahoga Falls Masonic Complex.

More than 90 members, family and guests were in attendance to welcome the new officers to their posts, according to event officials.

Four presiding officers and 28 additional officers were installed to serve the 1,200 members of the Akron Scottish Rite chapter. The team of installing officers included: James Easterling Jr., deputy’s representative and installing officer; Richard Landals, James McDonald, George Nockengost and Kenneth Gang, installing marshals; and George Seabeck, installing chaplain.

Those installed as the presiding officers of Akron Scottish Rite included, shown above, from left, Terry Regenos, of Ravenna; John Stouffer III, of Akron; C. Matthew Cowger, of Mogadore; and Jeffery Burton, of Suffield. At far right is Easterling.

As part of the ceremony, they received symbolic caps and jewels. A reception was held immediately following the installation program.
