Jones has been a part of KAB for close to 20 years, becoming a member of the Board of Directors in 2011. He has been the chairman of the Beautification Watch Awards for a decade and has hosted a training session at his interior design business for all participants in the watch. He helped lead KAB last year in developing a fundraising strategy, and he went on to sell the most tickets in the Dreamscape Raffle by selling 286 of the 1,126 tickets sold overall. Jones also won the grand prize in 2004 but donated the $10,000 landscape makeover to a nonprofit.
Dauka volunteered 1,200 hours at KAB during her senior year at The University of Akron. She began as an intern in May 2012 and made the decision to stay on the team for the next year. She was immersed in all of the programming for KAB, including all aspects of social media and the creation of new marketing materials. She also assisted in running agency programs and helped develop the America Recycles Day/Recycle-Bowl program. She created education pieces, designed new materials and wrote press releases for the program, and she got the children excited about recycling and took the time to meet the children involved, according to KAB officials. She is the youngest member on the Dreamscape Committee. Dauka graduated in May 2013 and is currently employed at Earth Fare in Fairlawn as the community relations manager.
