What makes you the better candidate?

“The biggest obstacle between the current Norton administration and the residents is trust. My opponent has very recently left his position as Norton Service Director to work in another community. That is a good thing! We need new visions and new ideas to responsibly and accurately address the many problems facing our city. Through my varied work experiences, I have developed the ability to bring people together to work on issues; a skill which is needed more than ever in Norton. When I am elected, I will listen and be responsive to the wishes and concerns of the people. I can and will earn the trust of the people through appropriate assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in every situation.”

What makes you the better candidate?

“As the former Superintendent of Public Service for the City of Norton I have worked with 5 different administrations and closely with all the other departments (Police, Fire, Economic Development, Finance, Building, Zoning, and Council). As the Superintendent of Public Service my responsibilities included the planning and direction of work involving construction or repair of city streets, storm sewers, municipal buildings, parks and cemeteries while adhering to the budgets. This gives me an understanding and knowledge of the needs of the city, both internally and externally. During my tenure with the City of Norton and in my current position with Springfield Township I handle complaints and concerns from the citizens daily and are attentive to their needs in a timely fashion. As a councilman I can apply my experience when making decisions that affect the citizens of Norton and the services that they expect while maintaining fiscal responsibility.”
