Fairlawn club members take part in parade

FAIRLAWN — The Fairlawn City Women’s Club’s float “Stars and Stripes Forever” took first place in the civic float category during the City of Fairlawn’s Fourth of July parade, according to club officials.

Betty Huston, the club’s current president, also represented the women in the parade.

The main purpose of the Fairlawn City Women’s Club is to raise funds for scholarships for high school seniors in the Fairlawn area, according to club officials.
