BVS Tour of Homes a ‘success’

The members of Bath Volunteers for Service (BVS) are gratified to announce the record-breaking success of their 44th Tour of Distinctive Homes. This was the organization’s second professionally filmed and narrated virtual home tour, featuring seven unique properties for viewing by ticketholders from the comfort of their own homes. The tour is an opportunity for anyone from anywhere with internet access to learn more about Akron and surrounding communities while showcasing the creative ideas, passions and individual styles of each homeowner.
The 2022 Tour of Distinctive Homes experienced rousing support from its sponsors, an all-time high in the number of tickets sold, and a 15 percent increase in revenues over last year. Home Tour proceeds will benefit numerous area nonprofits that apply and are approved for grants during the next BVS grant cycle (visit bathvolunteersforservice.com/bvs-gives-back for more information).
The mission of BVS is to establish and carry out a system of volunteer service, which shall be of the greatest benefit in bettering community living for adults and children. Women living in and near the Revere School system who are interested in joining BVS are encouraged to visit our website at bathvolunteersforservice.org. Homeowners interested in having their home featured in a future Tour of Distinctive Homes may contact Beth Sherwood, 2023 BVS Home Tour Chair, at bashannon@msn.com.
All of us at BVS are deeply appreciative of our gracious homeowners, faithful sponsors, growing number of ticket buyers, and devoted BVS volunteers, all of whom help make this annual event a success. Thank you!
