Fairlawn resident makes plea for mask use

To the editor:

Being a Fairlawn resident, I went out today to two stores and was shocked and disappointed people are still not wearing protective masks. Less than 30 percent had zero protection on hands and face. What else can we do? These people are quite selfish and are hurting everyone around them. Some cities are fining people $800 if they are caught breaking these rules. I suggest Fairlawn and surrounding communities do the same. This is life and death! They still don’t get it! Please make a plea.
