Greensburg/Arlington improvements to close roads

GREEN — City of Green officials announced closures related to the South Arlington/Greensburg Road roundabout and infrastructure improvements project are slated for up to eight weeks beginning Aug. 22. Work on the site is shown above, and the new roundabout is pictured below.
Officials said the first closure is for South Arlington Road between Greensburg and East Nimisila roads that will last approximately four weeks, weather depending. The second closure, to begin after the first one is completed, will be for Greensburg Road and also last about four weeks. The posted detour for both will be through East Nimisila Road.
This $1.88 million project includes stormwater improvements and the construction of a single lane roundabout. The project is anticipated to be completed by early November.
