NORTON — The season came to a close for the Norton High School Panthers football team Nov. 5 following a 28-0 loss to Parma Heights Holy Name High School in the Division III second-round game of the playoffs.

Despite a shutout loss to Holy Name, Norton finished the regular season undefeated and beat Copley High School 28-21 in the first round of the playoffs. Norton head coach Kevin Pollock said there is a lot to be proud of this season, including everything the players gave to the football program. Pollock is shown at right communicating a play to junior quarterback Toby Tatka during the second quarter of the game against Holy Name.
“We had an amazing season thanks to a great group of kids who played unselfish, physical football all year,” Pollock said. “This group was so much fun to be around every day and I felt lucky as a coach to get to be part of their team.”
