  • Richfield Township Resolution 05-2022 A RESOLUTION FOR A NO PARKING AREA ON COLUMBIA ROAD WHEREAS, Richfield Township is authorized by Ohio Revised Code, Section 505.17 to make such regulations as are necessary to control vehicle parking in the unincorporated area of the Township; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Township, its residents, and businesses to designate a no parking area and to enact regulations for the enforcement of the parking restrictions on Columbia Road. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of Richfield Township, Summit County, Ohio, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 505.17 as follows: 1. Parking shall be prohibited on the entirety of Columbia Road within the Township from the Village of Richfield line east of the intersection with Brecksville Road to the intersection with Allega Way. 2. The Fiscal Officer is hereby directed to post notice of this resolution in five conspicuous places within the Township for thirty days before the subject parking prohibition becomes effective. 3. Notice shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the Township for three consecutive weeks before the subject parking prohibition becomes effective. 4. Once required notice is given, signs posted designating the no parking area shall be in full effect. 5. It is hereby determined that all formal actions of this Board concerning and relating to the adoption of this Resolution were taken in an open meeting of this Board and that all deliberations of this Board that resulted in those formal actions were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law.
